The First Annual New England Stand-Up Paddleboard Championships E-mail
ESA First Annual New England Stand Up Paddleboard Race and Surfing Competition is set to go off tomorrow July 4th at the Narragansett Town Beach with signups from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.

The race will run from the town beach to the Dunes Club and back for a distance of about 2 miles.  Entry fee is $40.00 for either the race or contest or both!  There will also be an open longboard surfing contest that will award ESA riders a flat 500 points.  The entry fee for this contest is $20.00.   Trophies and prizes will be awarded to winners in all categories.  Be aware that there are fees for beach parking and entrance.

Summary:

Events include: Stand-up Distance paddle race from the seawall to the Dunes Club and back and wave riding contest.

Awards include: trophies and prizes for top finalists.

Divisions include: Junior Men, Open Men, Senior Men and Women.
