Note: All breaks have special characteristics: some of these charactetics are depicted in the Spots section but most of them aren't. It will take practice and personal knowledge of various spots to determine which break best suit your needs. Don't stop exploring! If you are looking for new spots try Google Maps, Google Earth and NOAA Mapfinder Nautical Map. Also recommended are "The Surf Report" pamphlets relative to New England, Maine Waves, Massachusetts Public Access Map, Magic Seaweed's reports listings, Morebeach's listings, Global Surfers and wannasurf.com and purchase several good coastal maps (strongly recommended are DeLorme's Atlas & Gazetteer⢠- State Editions). |
