NESurf.com - New England Surf Spots

The Surf Spots Page

About the spots: one of the goals of this site is help accommodate and manage the ever expanding New England surf sports population. Due to the candid and comments received through the forums and email, NESurf.com has come to the following conclusions:
1. Expansion of the  spots section is suspended until further notice. Note: The spots listed were selected either because they were extremely well known, they were already listed on other sites or, in most cases, both.
2. Spots that are already posted will be updated and corrected if any erroneous information is found.
3. Directions will not be provided.
Note: All breaks have special characteristics: some of these charactetics are depicted in the Spots section but most of them aren't. It will take practice and personal knowledge of various spots to determine which break best suit your needs. Don't stop exploring! If you are looking for new spots try Terraserver's Satellite Images and NOAA Mapfinder Nautical Map. You should also purchase all the "The Surf Report" pamphlets relative to New England check Maine Waves and wannasurf.com and purchase several good coastal maps (strongly recommended are DeLorme's Atlas & Gazetteer™ - State Editions).
