stream from York Beach.
The Wall
- Cinnamon Rainbows - Hampton, NH
Run by Cinnamon
Rainbows, this site now offers two very good
angles with image quality good enough to make it an invaluable
tool
in judging
surf conditions at The Wall. Combined with the WMUR cam
and Portland
Buoy it will give you a good idea what the surf conditions
at SE facing breaks are from Gloucester to Maine.
The Wall
- Pioneers Board Shop - Hampton, NH
Run by Pioneers, this report and cam page has detail surf condition details (updated several times a day) as well as a great surf cam angle. Combined with the WMUR cam
and Portland
Buoy it will give you a good idea what the surf conditions
at SE facing breaks are from Gloucester to Maine.
The Wall - Its a Beach - Hampton, NH
Pay site. Good image quality on the magnified version and videos of the surf taken every morning. All that’s missing is a daily and detailed online surf report. May be worth the money even without it... Combined with the WMUR cam and Portland Buoy it will give you a good idea what the surf conditions at SE facing breaks are from Gloucester to Maine.
Hampton
Beach - Hampton Beach Village District - Hampton,
NH
The description on their site pretty much says it all: “Hampton Beach
Live Weather Camera brought to you by WMUR TV CH 9 - Manchester
NH - in cooperation with the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom.” Combined
with the Portland
Buoy it will give you a good idea what the surf conditions
at SE facing breaks from Gloucester to Maine.
Seabrook
Beach, NH - Zapstix and Surfline - Seabrook Beach NH
This cam brought to you by Zapstix with the help of Surfline.com. Quality is good, though the live stream requires
that you pay for a subscription to Surfline.
Nantasket Beach - Northeastsurfing.com - Hull,
MA
Webcam run by Northeastsurfing.com. Works great combined
with their surf report and the Boston
Buoy.
Nantasket Beach - The Red Parrot - Hull, MA
Located on top of the The Red Parrot Restaurant, this beachcam pans Nantasket Beach. Under renovation.
Beachcomber
- The Beachcomber - Wellfleet, MA
Offers a great view of Cahoon Hollow Beach and the Atlantic
Ocean from the 3rd floor of the Beachcomber, in their words "Cape

Cod Buoy it will give you a good idea what the conditions
are like on the Cape.
Coastguard Beach - Morebeach.com - Eastham, MA

with the Cape
Cod Buoy it also will give you a good idea what the conditions
are like on the Cape.
1st
Beach - Northeastsurfing.com - Newport, RI
New webcam run by Northeastsurfing.com. A great cam to figure
out what is going on with the SSE to SW wind swell window
in southern New England.
Town Beach - Warm Winds - Narragansett, RI
Located right in front of the Narragansett Town Beach updates frequently and even offers a “movie” of the past hour. The camera is run by Warmwinds, a surf store in Narragansett. Combined with the Buzzard's Bay Buoy it will give you a good idea what the surf conditions are at SE facing breaks in Rhode Island.
Town Beach - Lila Delman - Narragansett, RI
Located on the south side of the Narragansett Town Beach
this rarely (if ever...) working beach cam offers a decent
perspective on wave size. The camera is run, or rather, not
run, by
Lila
Delman,
a real estate agent in Narragansett. The angle is a little
awkward, use in combination with the Warm
Winds cam.
Martha's Vineyard Coastal Observatory - Martha's Vineyard, MA
When fully operational, this is one of the best setup cams
in New England offering an image
of
the
beach and
live
wind
and
wave info (which unfortunately isn't working as of
late). Quoting from the site: "The
MVCO is a research observatory located at South Beach and
in the
ocean
a mile
off the south shore of Martha's Vineyard. It provides real
time and archived coastal oceanographic and meteorological
data for researchers, students and the general public."
Gilgo,
NY and East
hampton, NY (no longer active, hopefully temporarily)
Though not in New England these two cams can give you a
good idea as to how breaks with a SW to SE swell window
are doing. |
